In 1979 he joined the professionals at “Avonmore Studios”, in London, where he remained for two years, developing his skills and techniques in various fields, especially in “rooms sets” and “still life”. In 1981, after his return to Portugal, he was invited to work with Antonio Homem Cardoso, where he had the opportunity to gain experience in the portuguese market of photography. In 1983, established his own photographic studio and then returned to the professional activity as “freelance”, to which his qualities and experience fit better, allowing him, through the freedom of expression and creation, to achieve a degree of technical quality and professional achievement. Due to his experience of interior photography, in 1997 he was invited to perform the photographic survey of all the Pousadas of Portugal. Later on, he was invited by the Palácio Correio-Velho Auctions, S. The company’s objective was to improve the level of quality that the public was already accustomed. It is the first photographer in Portugal to offer clients, the digital technology to photograph 360°, using the system Ipix and later migrating to the technology QuickTime VR (Virtual Reality); this technology allows to photograph spaces and their visualization in a field of 360°, as tours or virtual visits, for example, hotels, public spaces or of monuments and buildings of high architectural interest and of art objects, visualizing them in all positions. His work, also involves, photos of living beings, like animals in movement for example. Did the exhaustive survey of all the studs farms of the Lusitano Horse in Portugal, which resulted in catalogs for four years for the Portuguese Association of the Lusitano Horse. On a personal level, he began to develop his own creative projects, which resulted in collective exhibitions and in 2004 with his first individual exhibition. In 2009 he was invited to go to Cape Verde to do the photographic survey of all the islands in various areas.
